Welcome

Linux is everywhere. Not only is it the foundation of this whole interweb thing but also it is in devices all around you. Things like DVD players, Satnav, phones and Wifi routers all have their own "Inner Penguin".

The purpose of embedded-linux.co.uk is to be a place where you can find some (hopefully) useful articles about using Linux as an embedded operating system. Most of this is written by me, Chris Simmonds, as a result of working with Linux over the last 10 years. My aim is to build up an archive of solutions to the problems I have encountered along the way so that others can benefit and maybe contribute as well. The odd thing is, you learn a lot just by writing something down in a way that others will understand (again, hopefully).

Remember: take care of your Inner Penguin.
